Mbuya Citadel Apartments is a modern multi-unit residential development in one of Kampala’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. Monaco Coatings was appointed to deliver the complete exterior and interior coating package for the complex, working alongside the developer’s construction team to achieve a premium finish quality consistent with the development’s upmarket residential positioning.

Mbuya Citadel Apartments required a coating partner that could deliver both premium exterior aesthetics and durable interior finishes across a full multi-unit development — Monaco delivered both under one roof.

The exterior facade was finished in Monaco Abertone — selected for its superior colour depth and premium aesthetic that the development’s architects envisioned. Abertone’s durability rating and resistance to tropical climate conditions also gave the developer confidence in a long-lasting exterior finish that would maintain the building’s kerb appeal year after year without significant maintenance.

Interior common areas, corridors, stairwells, and individual apartment walls were finished in Monaco Vinyl Silk — providing residents with a smooth, wipeable, and hygienic living surface throughout. The full colour scheme was developed in collaboration with the developer’s design team using Monaco’s colour studio palette, ensuring a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic from ground floor to rooftop.
