A bold vision takes shape — to create a paint brand built specifically for Uganda's climate, culture, and communities. The first batches are mixed, tested, and launched in Kampala.

02 - First Product Range Launched

Matt Emulsion and Vinyl Silk hit the shelves — immediately winning praise from contractors and homeowners alike for their superior local performance. Distribution begins to expand beyond Kampala.

03 - Weatherguard Transforms the Exterior Market

The launch of Weatherguard — Monaco's climate-engineered exterior paint — redefines what Ugandan homeowners expect from an outdoor coating. Withstands rainy seasons where other paints fail.

04 - Decorative Range & 200+ Retail Points

Stucco, Craft Mosaic, and the decorative range launch, opening Monaco to interior designers and architects. Distribution grows to over 200 retail points across Uganda.

05 - Uganda's Leading Paint Manufacturer

Monaco stands as Uganda's most trusted paint brand — with 10,000+ completed projects, a professional painter network, and ambitions to set the standard for paint manufacturing across all of East Africa.
